Kinda Oyful

I did call in sick today. The headache wasn't as bad as yesterday, but my head feels like a balloon was blown up in it. I went back to sleep.

Unknown to me, there was a crisis with access to some of our databases from off campus. My boss tried to contact me, but I was asleep. I woke up at 4 PM, saw the e-mails and texts, and started to get myself together to come in. After I had taken my shower, my boss said that they had a temporary fix, and I didn't need to come in. It's not all bad, though, because I wanted to go get some decongestant anyway.

Yikes.

The girls were pretty good about letting me sleep. Harlee was snoozing in the crook of my legs.

I think that I'll go get the decongestant and go back to sleep.

Added: Just bought my Amtrak ticket for Christmas. It was almost sold out.

Added again: Apparently there was a lockdown on campus this afternoon. Holy cow.

Getting There

I'm back with decongestant and lots of food. I got ingredients for a tomato, lettuce, avocado, and mozzarella sandwich. That sounds good. I also have had a taste for a sour cream and chives baked potato, so I got ingredients for that too. Plus some veggie frozen dinners. (I do need to eat my leftover hot dogs though.) WalMart apparently had just restocked their cat food, so I bought a ton of cat food.

I think that I'll meditate before I go back to sleep. I didn't this morning; I just crawled back into bed.
