Morning Medley

I woke up at the usual time to go to work and had breakfast.

Mimi picked a fight with Zara, which I broke up. Then I went to take a nap while my morning meds kicked in. Harlee came over, walked on my hair, and started meowing. I told her that she needed to settle down because I wanted to sleep. Harlee: "MEOW!!" Eventually she went away. Anyone want some cats? Cheap! (Yes, I'm kidding.)

Zara was asleep on top of one of the kitchen shelving units, which was smart given that Mimi is in a cranky mood.

Now I'm eating lunch. I have a couple of things to do online, and then I'll get cracking on the place.

Online Errands

WalMart had a cheap platform for a platform bed. I sleep on a mattress on the floor, so I ws seriously eyeing it. Amazon had it too, and it had good reviews, so I bought it. It'll arrive on Tuesday. I want to get my bedroom completely "done" over Thanksgiving. (By the way, I did find my meditation cushions, and they're in the bottom of the dresser. It's getting there. Not sure where the zabuton is though.)

Ordered a prescription. Threw laundry in the dryer.

I'm trying to decide whether to get elephant earrings for my mom for Christmas. I already have a couple of presents for her, but I got her an elephant bracelet a couple of years ago, and she loves it. Earrings might be overkill though. (?)

Have a headache that I'm trying to get rid of.

Zara wants some attention.

Napville

I lay down for a short nap to get rid of my headache, and overslept. The nap helped though.

I had a strong premonition that my uncle is going to die soon. He's in rehab right now. The premonition was so strong that I checked my messages, but nothing. I hope that I'm wrong.

I ate dinner, and I'm going to do what I can with the time that I have. Can't wait until the holiday.

I think that it's funny that I can recognize the sound of the Amtrak train. It sounds different than a freight train.

Added: found my cutting boards so that I can cut up tomatoes and avocados for sandwiches. Every little bit helps.

Pile of Papers

Doing quiet stuff. Cleaned off the kitchen table, and found some stuff that I had been looking for.

Got rid of the empty boxes in the kitchen (I hope). Listed them as free on a Facebook garage sale site, and someone was interested. I put them outside so that she can pick them up whenever. Clearing the kitchen and saving the planet at the same time!

Fed the hordes. Now I'm feeding myself.

Trying to decide whether to do homework now or get up early and do it.
