The House of Cats

I used up a lot of my extra hour oversleeping. I guess that I needed the sleep. Mimi was NOT PLEASED with me. I fed her an hour late! And she could have starved to death in the meantime! Etc.

 

Had some quality time with Harlee. When she starts to wail because she's lonely, the other two cats get nervous. No, I'm not putting her in the carrier. Zara also jumped on my lap.

 

I did get some stuff done around here, but a lot of it was cleaning up after Harlee. Sigh. The meds are only partially working like the last batch. Don't know where we go from here.

 

A problem that I thought that I could fix at work turned out to be not fixable. I wish that I figured these things out sooner. My slower brain gets frustrating at times.

 

It's always fun working with my friend though (in the evening).

 

Need to work on some homework. (I can't clean now anyway because the neighbors are asleep.) And I have a book that I want to read (The 12-Week Year).

 

I read an interesting article by a classical violinist and BBC presenter who made a practice of listening to one piece of classical music every day. I'll have to try that. I'm trying to get my hands on her book, which lists a piece for every day, because I'm so Bach-centric. I can't get a copy of it through other Illinois colleges or the public library. I'll need to look for it at work because I can do a national search from there.
