Freaking Medical Tests

I had a doctor's appointment this afternoon. The doctor lectured me about getting some tests done. This afternoon, I've already made an appointment for a mammogram. Go me. I also need to call my insurance company to see where I can have my blood test done. My last insurance company told me to go to Bloomington, which wasn't exactly convenient. That was really crappy insurance though. Nope, I have to go to Bloomington or Springfield. Crap. I'll probably go to Bloomington and get my car's oil changed at the dealer as well.

 

I also made an appointment to talk to a counselor, ostensibly for depression (and I have been feeling depressed), but to talk through all the stuff that's been going on in my life.

 

TGIF. We're scrambling because the semester starts on the 20th.

 

Mimi has been sneezing. I wonder why. I'll keep an eye on her.

Added: Oh, I suppose that things could be worse. I was messaging with a former colleague last night. She had been laid off (which I knew) and got another job (which I knew), but had to take a substantial pay cut (which I didn't know). She can't afford an apartment, so she's been living in a camper that she has.
