Zen and the Art of Research

Still raining. I'm hoping that it will stop later so that I can stay dry running errands.

 

Mimi has been following me around. "That's more like it Mommy. You stay home." I was paying some attention to Zara, and Mimi went, "No, Mommy, pay attention to ME! ME! ME!" Sigh.

 

The book that I've been reading about investing is good and also old, so I bought it for a cheap price. It lists ways to evaluate the stock financials, but I wasn't sure where to get some of the data and it requires math (the horror!) Then I remembered that I have a Schwab account that I'm not doing anything with. It gives me all the data that I could possibly want. I can get Morningstar reports on stocks too through Schwab. Yay, Schwab. Most of the stocks that I'm interested in are rated Hold or Sell. Walgreens and Wal-Mart are rated Buy and Strong Buy, respectively. Chico's is cheap and Schwab rates it a Strong Buy. Must research. I certainly like its clothes.

 

Had a nice nap, snuggling with Miss Z. Watched The Crown and then went to the store.

 

Mom's trip to Chicago went well. She didn't have any problems driving there and back.

 

Now I need to do homework....
