Overslept

My phone didn't charge, and I forgot to turn on the alarm on the clock, so I drastically overslept after a dream in which I was giving a presentation in which everything went wrong. I proved how fast I can move when I have to.

 

Mimi was very unhappy this morning because I didn't sit still with her on my lap. I came home for dinner and gave her some lap time, and all was forgiven. I was also glad to see Zara lounging in the futon in the living room.

 

We had 80 students in the library tonight. That's a lot. We just have a (small) first floor and half of a second floor. We're making a good case to hire more student workers.

 

Looked at some pictures of Madison, and it is very pretty with lots of water. Winter is beastly (though there are some pretty pictures of it too), but I'd want to snowbird. Apparently one of its nicknames is "The Berkeley of the Midwest," and I like Berkeley, so it is promising. Love college towns.
 
Hot and humid again. Headache again. Bah. And it's supposed to stay this way all weekend.
