Immigration Project

It gave me great pleasure to donate to the organization that the loser who shot up the synagogue objected to, HAIS. And the Southern Poverty Law Center, which monitors hate groups. (I gave them money in the past.) And the Brady Campaign Against Gun Violence. (I also donated to them in the past.) It's a start. I'm really, really angry.

 

Zara is the only cat that gets manic after eating instead of sleepy. She's bouncing off of the walls.

 

I looked at the Unitarian Church in Bloomington because I'm feeling like getting involved. They also do volunteer work for the Immigration Project, which provides legal service for immigrants in the area. They are looking for people who speak Spanish and French, and obviously I'm not there yet, but they also sometimes look for people who do Web design. Their applications in Bloomington are waitlisted, but there are open applications in Champaign. I really want to get involved. Note to self: Application
