Procedure Day

Got up at 6 AM to take batch number 2 of the meds. They upset my stomach, so I made some broth.

 

Not 100 percent certain that I'm cleaned out. Need to talk to the nurse when I get there.

 

My ride was early, so I got there early.

 

The nurse said that the cleanse was okay. The procedure went well, and I'm back home. They found signs of diverticulitis, which is disconcerting. My dad has had major problems with it. They also are biopsying a few polyps.

 

I'm feeling surprisingly awake and decent, but I think that I'll still take a nap.

 

Slept for six hours. Made myself a mini-pizza, and played a game of "Mommy, I want your pizza" with Zara.

 

I should clean the kitchen, but I'm thinking about going to bed early.

 

One of my professors liked my portfolio so much that he e-mailed me about it. That was nice.

 

I am going to go to bed and read after I feed the girls.
