Stayed up late reading. At work, we were getting rid of an Anne McCaffrey book that I must have read years ago, so I took it home. It's total mind candy, but fun.
 
Got up at 11:30 AM. 
 
I found some free printable financial planners online. Free is good. Need to set up the printer (no, I haven't set it up yet), and print them off. That's a good thing to do today because I'm kind of low energy.
 
Trying to decide how to organize my closet. I had thought about putting pants together, blazers together, etc., but I also like the idea of having entire outfits ready to grab.
 
One of my neighbors has a bush with beautiful purple flowers in front of their mobile home. Need to ask them what it is.
 
Storm clouds are rolling in. We're supposed to get a storm that's coming from the West Coast.
 
There clearly has been a dustup in the pecking order around here. Zara has been sleeping with me, and Mimi has been sleeping elsewhere. I just lay down for a nap, and Zara came in with me. Mimi just peeked in through the doorway, saw Zara, and turned around and left. Mimi seems to be finally realizing that Zara is a tough cookie.
 
Couldn't nap. I got up and started looking on Dollar Tree's Web site for organizing stuff. Found some baskets in beige, brown, and black that look really classy. You have to buy 36 of them, but it would look good to have matching baskets. There's free shipping to the store, and then I could go pick them up. They have 50 oz. dry food containers too. Can't beat the price ($1 each).
 
I'm going to have some soup and set up the printer. I want to work on organizing the bedroom, but I want to give Zara a chance to snooze in there first. (Yes, I spoil my cats.) No, Zara got up while I ate. Never underestimate the siren call of Mommy's food.
 
I've been in the bedroom, culling the stuff that goes in my dresser. Some stuff is easy; I don't need four plain navy t-shirts. One will do. And I've been trying the "Kon-Mari" folding method on the clothes. Basically, you fold and roll the clothes and put them in the drawer such that you can see everything that you have in one glance. But you can fit fewer clothes in, so I'm not sure how this is going to work.
 
I needed a break, so I watched Marie Kondo on Netflix. I was folding wrong, and that's why it took up more room. Need to refold stuff.
 
Got everything in the dresser with some room to spare. I need to organize the underwear drawer though. I got tired and threw stuff in.
 
Talked to Mom. She isn't sure if she'll be able to come out and visit because her energy is up and down. She told me to pick a time to take time off that will be good for me, and we'll see. A friend of hers had a stroke and can't talk, and she's having a hard time dealing with it.
 
Had grilled cheese and tomato soup for dinner. I'm feeling tired, so I'm going to go to bed soon, read for a while, and go to sleep.
