The Hands of Dorian Gray

My face still looks relatively young, but my hands. Oy. Wrinkle City. And liver spots. It's like the Picture of Dorian Gray with body parts.

Had problems falling asleep, so I took some valerian. It worked. Slept a good long time.

Found out that a regional college is closing. They had already said they were in trouble, but still, that doesn't bode well.

There's supposed to be "severe" weather right when I'm supposed to pick up my groceries. Oh well. I think that the pickup spot has a roof, although I have to run in and get Zara's meds first. Now they're saying that the storm should start at 7 PM, and I should be back by then.

Fed myself and the girls.

Pondering what to invest in next. PNC? Walmart? More of an index ETF?

Had a nice nap with Zara. Threw myself together.

Back from the store and need to sit down for a moment. I now have enough soda to last me a week and a half. I bought extra soda to keep me from running out during the week. Scored four two-tier under sink organizers at Aldi. Managed to score corn dogs and sliders, also at Aldi. And I splurged on deep-dish pizza. Picked up Zara's meds at Walmart. Walmart had everything that I ordered for pickup, which is great. Now to fit it all in the refrigerator....

I brought hand sanitizer and squirted a little on my hands at each stop. People were not necessarily respecting your personal space, however.

Dozed a little before I talked to Mom. She needs to replace her hearing aids, but the hearing aid store isn't open. She sounded good though. She thinks that my cat Mimi should run for President. She'll come up with a campaign for Mimi.

Hmm. I want to renew my passport as one small step towards going to Italy, but I don't know if taking passport pictures is an "essential" business task or not. Maybe I'll run over to CVS sometime during the week and ask. Just checked, and the U.S. Passport agencies are not accepting renewals at this time.

I wish that I knew how long we'll be in quarantine. I found a small treadmill that interests me, but I'm not sure how long we'll be at home. It would provide me with an easy way to walk/run at night though. And there are no sidewalks near me to jog on.
