Onwards Into the Wild Wet Yonder
May. 17th, 2020 02:51 amLeisurely morning. Got us all fed. Made a shopping list. Had a nap.
I'm wondering if I should go to the store or not. Right now, a storm is overhead, but I still need to eat and shower. I guess that I'll throw myself together and see what the weather is like when I need to leave.
It was raining, but not storming, when I was ready to leave, so I went. On one stop, Aldi has a new policy of not bringing in bags from the outside, and they don't bag groceries, so I was standing outside in the rain near my car bagging groceries. I was close to tears, but I sucked it up and got it done.(Mom thought that I should have bought bags there, but I have a ton of reusable bags.)
Now I'm home. I just brought in the perishable stuff, and the rest can wait until it stops raining. The little plants seem to like the rain. I'm glad that something does.
According to the Wall Street Journal, RV camping is in. Still want a camper van.Talked to Mom. She's doing okay, but she's tired of people venting to her. She thinks that I should keep both big boxes for Zara. I said, "Hey, whose side are you on?" "Zara's!"
Then I took a nap. At 10:30 at night. Because I wanted to. I woke up at 1:30 AM and had something to eat. Did the dishes. Now it's time to post and go back to sleep for the night.
