Mom's Here

Got up early and got my mom's bathroom floor swept and scrubbed, and swept her bedroom. Washed the floor in her room and swept the kitchen floor during lunch. It's very humid and raining, so now I'm melting.

Woo-hoo! Mom called, and she's on her way. Mom called again, and she had a hard time getting out of the city due to rush-hour traffic, but she's finally out.

Hmmm. Zara seems a little "off". She isn't going after my food, although she is eating her food. I'll keep an eye on her.

I've been discussing bonds, the interest rate, and inflation with my dad via email.

Mom got here around 6:30ish. Mom and I have been enjoying each other's company and have been talking a lot. I talked to my aunt briefly on the phone as well. Mom and I had a nice dinner at Culver's.

I've got my seed potatoes and sweet potato slips and the potato bags. Awesome. I'm planning to do a lot of planting on Sunday.

Now I'm trying to gather the energy to wash the kitchen floor. Well, the sooner that I get it over with, the sooner I can go to sleep.
