Program Jam

The girls heard someone at the door and scattered. I didn't hear anything besides a slight creaking, but I opened the door anyway. There was someone out there, trying to put an ad for a church on my door. I took it from her and thanked her, I'm not sure why. But points to my cats' keen ears (and boo to them abandoning me to whatever was behind the door!)

Had a nice nap and woke up before the alarm. Started laundry.

Mimi has been surprisingly hyper and nervous. She was on my lap and took off when I put my phone on the table. Um, Mimi, it's okay.

Soaked a litter box. Watered the garden. (I need to find time for weeding, but it's HOT (90F). I wonder if I could weed at night with a flashlight and my porch light on? Hmm, the temperature is supposed to drop later in the week.) Paid a bill.

Now I'm doing homework. Woo-hoo, got part 1 of my program working. It's getting easier now that I'm getting back in the Java groove. I was struggling to remember it after being away from it for the summer! Hot damn, I finished my assignment, and it's only 4:30 PM. Maybe I'll eat dinner and throw myself together and then go to the grocery store.

Or not. I forgot that I was cleaning a litter box in the tub. I'm thinking of taking another nap after the girls finish eating.

Or not. I couldn't sleep. I guess that I'll do more homework. No, I read Harry Potter. A great use of my time :)

Talked to Mom. She sounded better than last week, but she's scrambling to get stuff done before the biopsy on Monday. Apparently she will be at the hospital for hours on Monday. She's going to call when she gets home. She was actually quite funny during the call, and we laughed a lot. It'll be good when she has the biopsy over with. She does have a bad cough, which might be due to the growth in her lungs.

I'm going to get my Italian stuff together and go to sleep.
