Overslept and feeling kind of scatterbrained this morning. Sigh.

Ducked out and mailed the eBay package.

I've had a kind of rough day. Nothing happened, but I'm feeling "off". I'm going to skip going to the grocery store tonight and lie down. Though hmm, there's skating tomorrow. And piano. And I'm also almost out of oatmeal, but I have some grits. I'll be glad when the Olympics are over in some ways. Oh, the figure skating is at 4 AM. Not happening.

I lay down for a nap and slept through until 6 AM.

Getting Up Early Worked Well

The ice skating is going on, so I tried to turn on streaming on my phone. Xifinity said that I didn't have the right channel, never mind the fact that I can get it on my TV. I'll go turn it on after I post.

I watched the rest of the skating. Kamila Valieva was obviously feeling the pressure from her drug test. She made an uncharacteristic stumble and walked off the ice in tears. I wound up feeling sorry for her. She's still in first place though. A Japanese skater finished in the top three. I'm glad that I watched some of the skating. Ugh. All the subsequent skating events are at 4 or 5 AM.

I stepped on Mimi's tail this morning. Way to go. And Zara chased after her and smacked her. I told Zara to cut it out. A bad morning for Mimi. (She seems to be okay though.)

The iCAN people contacted me for an interview. Because they gave me a list of choices, I'm encouraging them to schedule it next week (after the Olympics) but I also said that Thursday was possible. It's scheduled for a week from tomorrow, so if I want to do something crazy and get up really early for the skating on Thursday, I can do it.

I have to get to the store tonight because it's supposed to rain for the next two days (done). Though I need to go to the dentist tomorrow.

Oh cool. I received my map of Germany and my Fitbit charger.

Now I'm resting for a few minutes. Then I need to soak a litter box and then set up the veggie lasagna in the crockpot so that I can just turn it on tomorrow. I'm feeling kind of tired, so I soaked the litter box and washed the crockpot out. I'm planning to go to sleep early and get up early to make lasagna. Or I could make it at lunch. Oh, I need to charge my Fitbit.
