Wednesday

I had a doctor's appointment today. I talked to the doctor about a sleep study because Mom said that I had been snoring, and the doctor said that I had a short, thick neck, so I was high-risk for issues. She wrote an order for a home sleep study to get the ball rolling. I also need to have a fasting blood test done. I'll do that on Monday. She wished me luck in Champaign. I don't see the order for the sleep study, so I need to call the doctor's office. Sigh.

I found my missing glasses. I tucked them in my purse!

Napped and slept through until 3:30 AM. Oh shit. I slept through my therapy appointment. I just sent an email apologizing. I also missed an email from my aunt's nephew. Way to be on top of things.

Dad and Mom

My programming instructor changed my assignment to be due on Monday instead of Friday. I still need to work on it, but I can take a nap first. Couldn't sleep, so I guess that it's homework time.

My dad told me to put my retirement money into a money market account until the market gets less volatile. He also suggested that I put my aunt's money into a Roth IRA invested in a money market account.

My dad and I were also talking about my California Zephyr trip to see him, so it looks like I'm really going to take the trip. He wants me to call from Salt Lake City to let him know if the train was running late, but I probably will be asleep if it is running late. Hmm.

Tried calling Mom, but she hasn't been answering. I'm a little worried about her.

I'm feeling tired now, so I'm thinking of going to bed early and getting up to do homework.

Mom called me back. She's freaking out about everything that she has to do. And she thought today was Wednesday, and I had to tell her that it was Thursday. She freaked out more. I'm going to talk to my aunt's nephew on Friday and will relay info back and forth with my mom.

Yeah, talking to Mom leaves me frazzled, so I think that I should go to bed. Now, though, I'm wondering if I should go to Champaign on Monday as well as Wednesday. I'll sleep on it. There aren't a lot of places, although Urbana has a few that I like. I think that I'll plan to go to Urbana on Monday and will contact places to tour tomorrow.
