I overslept my alarm, which I set for 5AM. I got up at 7. Threw myself together and hit the road around 9. Got to the rest stop near Battle Creek and called the police. I waited for two hours, but they didn't come. I discovered later that they called me, and somehow I missed the call. Then I got back on the road again. I stopped for lunch at a Denny's in Kalamazoo and had biscuits and gravy with chicken and eggs. It was huge and very filling. I only had a short stretch of stop-and-go traffic. Nonetheless, I arrived at my aunt's house a little after 7 PM. Mom said to return the U-Haul in the morning, and I agreed. Unloaded the U-Haul. Mom wanted DoorDash from Noodles and Company. We ate, and then I inflated the air mattress and went to bed. I woke up at 5:30 AM. My plan is to call the police person later to make a report over the phone. And then return the U-Haul.

 I woke up at 5:30 AM and couldn't fall back asleep. So I got up and was showered and dressed before Mom got up.

I tried calling the Michigan State Police person, but no answer. Then I returned the van. They said that they will send pictures of the damage to U-Haul, and they'll call if they had questions. Then I had the worst Uber driver ever on the way back. He blew past my street and th n tried to turn the wrong way on a one-way street to recover.

Ate my mom's leftover spaghetti for lunch. Now I think that it"s nap time (done).

Did laundry while Mom cleaned. Ran to the grocery store and also got gas for the trip tomorrow. Ordered pizza. We're both tired, so we're going to sleep early.
