Extension

I overslept, but not as drastically as yesterday. Treadmill guy said that he still doesn't have the gas money. Sigh.

Italian went okay. My teacher wanted to reschedule, I think because he wanted to watch the World Cup, but I missed the message. We're done until January.

I mulled over taking a No Doz, but I need to be able to sleep tonight because I'm driving to Champaign tomorrow, so that's not a good idea. I feel shaky though. I think that I'll gather the garbage so that I can take stuff out while I'm bringing boxes in.

Got the garbage out and loaded my car with boxes for my pictures. Now I'm sitting for a moment.

Someone took the plastic shelves that I put out with the trash. Yay. One shelf is cracked, but the rest of the shelves are okay.

Started on the storage space, which is going to be my downfall. I've forgotten what a mess it is. I got about a third of it done. I texted the movers asking if we could shift the move a day later, and we'll see what they say. I'm planning to take the girls to the vet for boarding early, so that I can work on the storage space until I need to leave for Champaign. I had a lantern with me, but it was also freaking cold, so I loaded the car with stuff to throw out and left. I need to go back and get my small boxes.

I drove right near McDonald's, so I went through the drive-through and picked up some food. Now I just finished eating, and I'm thawing.

The food knocked me out. I'm going to lie down for about an hour.

The mover said loading on Wednesday and unloading Thursday works for them. Yay! I'm still going to jam though to be ready on Wednesday.

Huh. I wonder why I'm oversleeping in the morning but not during my naps.

I've decided to go to the grocery store tomorrow and also get boxes. I will empty the car of stuff to throw out though (done).

Well, ugh. I paid my rent for the sliver of December that I'll have the new place and also for January. I got my electric and gas service set up. But I went to start water and it said that I owe them money from when I was renting the duplex. I went to pay the bill and it wouldn't let me. Then I went to print off proof of renter's insurance, and couldn't get into my account. So I'll need to get up early and make phone calls. I'm not going to move my Comcast service until right when I'm moving. (I want to dump Comcast, but it'll be easier to move with it and then dump them.)

Printed off my cat instructions. Gathered cat stuff (food and meds). Now I'm going to go to sleep to get up early and make phone calls.
