Things Keep Rolling Along

Woke up with my alarm at 7 AM, but decided to go back to sleep until 9. I feel more well-rested.

Called the place where I will be boarding the cats when the movers are here and changed it to February.

Tried to nap at lunch but couldn’t sleep. Mimi, on the other hand, is totally crashed out. I was thinking about Zara and how much the cats have had to deal with this year and felt full of empathy for them.

I'm feeling ice cold. Maybe some hot tea is in order.

Hmm. I was wondering how much it would cost to put a half-bath upstairs in the new house, and they aren't that expensive. It would be a lot more convenient to have a toilet up there. I think that I might want a mini-refrigerator and an electric kettle too.

Mimi walked in, ate Zara's food (Zara is snoozing), and walked out. Cats!

I looked into taking the train to a conference in Minneapolis next year. I could do that, but the train will get in at 11 PM (ugh). But I probably will still take it. I wrote my boss about it because coach seats are filling up.

The real estate agent got back to me and said that the roof fixes on my house-to-be are happening next week. She'll look into the title work and let me know what our options are for closing dates.

Huddled under blankets surfing my phone. I went from Sarah Michelle Gellar (I don’t know why) to Freddie Prinze Jr. to Freddie Prinze to Jimmy (“JJ.”) Walker, and I decided to leave the 70s while I still could :) I’ve been a Wikipedia fiend lately while I was looking up people in Streisand’s bio.

Got the garbage and recycling out.

I got some of my Pottery Barn swatches. I'm leaning toward "Evergreen". Now I need to get the paint swatches.

Paid a bill. I need to get stuff together for my trip on Wednesday, but I'll do that in the morning.
