Serious Snow

Oh crap. They’re predicting serious snow in Urbana Friday night (up to 8 inches). I really need to get an early start. And get a power snow shovel. I was looking at powered snow shovels, and the best one is $400. Ouch. There is one for a little over $100, but I wonder how good it is. Okay, I found one for $279. I should order it for pickup at Lowe's. (And my new down jacket should get here on Thursday. That will help.) Okay, I ordered a power snow shovel for pickup.

I had talked about getting really snowed in with my colleague/friend, and she suggested taking my work laptop. But I don't have Internet yet at the new house. I made an appointment to set up AT&T Fiber on Saturday (although if we really are snowed in, he might not make it). I'm going to bring folding trays and folding chairs to set up my laptop.

I ordered the bathroom shelves to put together on Saturday. I'll ask the painter to do that room first, so that I can put the stuff together in the evening. And I could work on my budget as well. And I could grab some DVDs and my boom box, which is also a DVD player.

Today was a "stay in pajamas" day. Yes, I did work. In pajamas.

Had a nice nap with Mimi.

Got folding chairs, soda, and some food from Meijer. And I forgot oatmeal! I can pick some up when I go get the power snow shovel.

Finished clearing off the kitchen table and did dishes. I need to take a break before finishing the kitchen. I should finish tonight though.
