The Perks of Being a Wallflower?

Hmm. A plant sale is selling Erysimum (wallflowers) and they're kind of pretty.

And they're dog and cat friendly. You have to replace them biennially in cold climates though. Maybe I should put some in pots to make them easier to get rid of when they're done blooming. Ugh, I tried to order them, but Comerica is declining my card for some reason. I have plenty of money in the account. Sigh. I'll just wait until I get paid again on Wednesday.

Hmm, I like the African daisies that they're selling too.

You can grow them indoors too. (They're safe for cats and dogs.) That's one way to get flowers in the house. Maybe I could put them in hanging baskets in the kitchen. They would be cheery to look at. Now I'm thinking of just one African Daisy in a hanging planter. Amazon doesn't have single hooks, but Lowe's does.

I tried another credit card and that didn't go through on the plant site. And I tried the first card on Amazon, and that went through. Something is wrong with their site. I found some other options elsewhere that would be shipped to me too.

Still haven’t gotten the compost bin. Amazon says, “Your delivery is running late.” Ya think?

Took my shower at lunchtime, and Zara came in to see what I was doing afterwards. I thought that she wanted food, but she’s cuddling with me on the bed now. Aww. (She did want food though (done)).

Attended my TA session for the algorithms (math) class after work, and it was typically helpful. Then I worked on my program design assignment due today. I handed it in at 9:30 PM, which gives me a chance to run some errands tonight and get a halfway decent night's sleep because we have our in-person staff meeting tomorrow and the next day, and it's a bit of a drive.
