days_unfoldingOne of my teeth is aching. Time to call the dentist. The only thing is that yesterday, I had only the name of the company administering my COBRA and an Internet connection. On the COBRA site, I found the name of the dental plan. On the dental plan's site, I found an ID card and a list of dentists in the PCN and PPO network. Now I just need to decide whether to go to a PCN dentist (much farther away but 100% coverage) or a PPO dentist (nearby but 90% coverage).
Today, I was at Manpower (shouldn't they change their name?) filling out a gazillion forms. They asked me to come back for an interview. However, I have a phone interview sometime this week, but the recruiter hasn't confirmed the date and time yet. Also, if it's storming tomorrow, I'd rather not drive a relatively long distance to go to Manpower. I guess I'll get up as if I was going to Manpower and call the recruiter first thing. I guess that I should study for the phone interview too, even if I don't know when it's going to take place. This is starting to sound like a story problem.
I saw Lars and the Real Girl tonight. It's the one about a guy who falls in love with an anatomically correct sex doll. (No, I'm not making that up.) It's weird to the point of brilliance and unexpectedly poignant. (No, I'm not making that up either.) I recommend it if you like offbeat movies.
