As a reluctant fan of the books, then the movies...I am pleased with the movies overall. They did an excellent job of casting and truly Alan Rickman is one of the best. Truly a jackpot with him as Snape. My biggest gripe is with the last movie. Take the longest book to date and make it the shortest movie? Hello? ugh. The director was actually proud of the fact and TRIED to do that. He left too much out, frankly...stuff that needs to be addressed for the later movies... :\
