days_unfoldingThe cats are unhappily boarded at the vet, and I think that we have all the paperwork together for their flight. (I faxed the paperwork to the person coordinating the move for a reality check.) The only thing is that it looked like Harlee lost three pounds between a couple of weeks ago and now, so the vet is doing blood work to make sure nothing's wrong. (I think they just had a bad measurement last time. This time, her weight was her normal weight.)
I signed papers at the title company for the close of escrow. However, they don't think escrow will close until next Tuesday (or possibly Wednesday). The one good thing is that they'll do an electronic transfer to my checking account of the proceeds from the sale.
I was (am) concerned about paying the guys who will remove the furniture that I'm not taking. Cynthia suggested that her son take the furniture to the dump instead, and I could pay him when the funds from the sale go through. That would be a big relief. (Plus, I'd rather have the money go to Cynthia's son than some random company.) Cynthia's going to talk to her son and get back to me.
I have tons of packing to do, especially cat stuff. But first, a quick nap is in order.
