Far Freaking Out

days_unfoldingI finished my homework for this weekend. I do have an assignment due on Thursday and a final project proposal due on Friday, which I should work on, but I can legitimately go do something more fun right now (like set up the Kindle Fire and the TV!)
Oh, about the Kindle Fire--Amazon had a deal in which you could pay in installments without interest, so I caved in and got one. I want it for The New York Times and for magazines (and I could download my Kindle books to it as well). I plan to carry it with me pretty much everywhere I go.
I actually wound up with two tablets. One was on sale on eBay for a ridiculously low price, so I got it without doing research (dumb!) I found out that it isn't getting very good reviews on Amazon.com. Then the Kindle Fire deal came across. But my mom is going to have hip replacement surgery at the end of April, so I'm going to set it up for her and give it to her to use in the rehab place. (And it's not expensive, so if something happened to it, I wouldn't be really upset.) So everything works out the way that it's supposed to....
