Date: 2016-07-11 05:41 am (UTC)A while back, I watched a bunch of videos by a guy who minimized his living expenses by living on a boat so he could focus on becoming a 'writer'. The videos about life on a small boat were fascinating. Plus the guy has a really upbeat, quirky character so I thought I'd check out some of his writing....... oh my..... oh my. I couldn't imagine any editor not telling him - 'don't give up the day job'.
But hey..... the guy was living out his dream. Perhaps he will never sell more than a few dozen copies of his books, but he seems much happier than most.
