Change of Heart

days_unfoldingI went to bed early last night, planning to read for a while. Mimi plopped herself between me and the light source, and then lay down on my arm. I was mildly exasperated that I couldn't read. But then I thought about how snuggling with Mommy was probably one of the high points of Mimi's day. So I snuggled with her, and then went to sleep.
Woke up at 9 AM. So much for sleeping in :) Fed myself and the hordes, and scooped litter boxes. My outdoor trash can froze shut last night, so I got it unstuck. Now I'm sipping my coffee.
I need to run errands in the late afternoon. I'm thinking that my plan is to nap, do stuff around here, run errands, hole up in the coffee shop and do some reading/planning, and then go to the movie. The cats will get fed a little late, but not later than when I go to the store after work.
Somewhere along the line, I need to work on a price book so that I can tell when things are on sale. I've also been turning off lights when I'm not using them. (I tend to leave the whole place lit up.) I should unplug my computer when I'm not using it, but the plug is in an inconvenient spot. I suppose that I could unplug it at the computer end.
