Warm Beds and Warm Cats

Woke up at 9 AM after a dream about a former friend whom I haven't seen for years. Got to wonder why he popped up in my dream now. Feeling groggy. I did manage to put clothes in the dryer though.

Zara is lying on a heat vent in the bedroom. A cozy spot for a cat. Mimi is on my lap.

Got us all fed. I think that it's nap time. Had a nice nap. I'm going to eat and then get myself together to go to Walmart.

Mimi: "Mommy, you're sitting down! You must want me on your lap!"

I was pondering what to do after I go to Walmart, and a stack of mail fell off of the kitchen table. I think that was a hint. I need to make a list of stuff to get done on my staycation though. Cleaning off the table should be first on the list, though, because I need the table to write Christmas cards and wrap packages.

Back home with Zara's meds, cookies, and jam. And a headache, so I might lie down for a few minutes. I lay down for a couple of hours.

Talked to Mom. She's been feeling tired. She talked to her doctor, and he suggested drinking more coffee in the morning. It actually is helping. We talked more about Christmas and about my taking a second Master's degree program. She gets why I might want to do it.
