Words exchanged between strangers

When I sell a book on Amazon.com, I send a standard, dry note: Thank you for your purchase. I'll ship the book to you <whenever I'm going to ship the book>.
Despite the dryness, some people seem to get that they're dealing with an individual and respond. Several have said "you're welcome". One, who bought a book about selling services, said that she just got laid off and wanted to get into consulting. (I sent a note back wishing her good luck.) The following note really cracked me up:
I'm finding it interesting that a book itself is one form of interaction between strangers, and the subject matter of the book can spark another interaction between strangers. I never really thought of selling books as selling dreams or aspirations, but (at least for non-fiction), that's frequently the case.
Anyway, I'm debating whether to go mail the books that I sold last night and this morning today. I'd rather not mail stuff every single day except Sunday, but that largely has been what I've been doing. If I am going to mail them, I need to get moving to make the pick-up.
Addendum: I've decided that I'll ship Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays only. I still should be able to honor the "ship within two business days" guideline from Amazon.com.

Thank you for mailing the chronic disorganization book to me. If I had to
mail you the book, I wouldn't be able to find it! I do so look forward to
getting it.
