I did get up early, but went back to sleep. This is why I don't plan to do stuff in the morning. But I felt nice and well-rested today.

Booked my hotel for the Big Library Conference. I got the hotel that I wanted. Cool Beans. Downtown Chicago, here I come. The hotel is on Rush Street, which was the big bar area when I was growing up in Chicago, so I might live to regret it, but I like the hotel. I need to pay down my credit card to have it for meals when I'm there in June. Plus I'll have to pay the pet sitter.

Got gas and returned a library book before going home. Don't I live an exciting life?

Compromised with Zara that she can eat her food on my office chair because she really doesn't want to eat on the floor. Given that she dribbles her food, I'll need to check the chair before I sit down.

Read a US News and World Report article about the best Rome tours. There are some interesting ones.

Also read an MSN article by someone who took trains from Istanbul to London. Fascinating.

I'm going to tidy up for 10 minutes before bed to get into the habit. Then I'll extend the time.
