A Happy Ending (Thank You eBay)

I did my normal morning routine and lay down for a nap. But Zara had the zoomies. Gallop gallop gallop in and out of the room. I asked her to settle down. Either she did or I fell asleep anyway.
Apparently a beach in Spain is laying out nets to mark socially-distanced spaces and making the spaces available by reservation. I wonder if Chicago will do something like that. There's a beach in Clinton (about a half-hour away) that I haven't been to, but the beaches aren't open right now. It's cold anyway.
Well, hell. I called in Zara's meds last night, but wasn't sure that the order went through, so I brought the prescription bottle to Walmart. I went to the pharmacy first thing, and they said that they'd fill it in 15 -20 minutes. Cool. So I went to the garden center and picked out some bean and zucchini seeds. Then I went to look at plants....only to find that they were cleaned out of everything except a lonely tomato plant of a variety that I've never heard of. I picked up Zara's meds and some milk, and then I went to Ace Hardware, which sells plants, only to find that they're closed. I'm going to check out their plant selection tomorrow.
I started looking online for plants with no luck. I might call some places in Springfield and Bloomington if Ace Hardware doesn't have what I want. I've never seen plants sell out this quickly. Through the magic of eBay, I ordered two basil plants, two oregano plants, three cherry tomato plants, and a fernleaf dill plant. I'd like Italian parsley. (Someone on eBay was selling one for $20. No.) And I'd like a patio tomato plant. But I'm happier.
Talked to Mom. She feels like she hit the wall this week with things going wrong. I told her my plant saga with the happy ending. She's wondering if she'll be able to come visit me this summer, and, of course, we don't know. I also told her that the uncertainty of how things are going to go is getting to me a little.
I made Home Chef Garlic-Ginger Shrimp and Coconut Risotto. It was better than I thought that it would be.
I'm trying to figure out what to do. I have a little time to get something done, but not a lot of time. Maybe I'l tackle the bedroom because I want to put the FitDesk there.
