Mimi is licking the condensation off the side of the soda bottle. Um, Mimi, you have two water bowls. But she's on my lap right now.

Zara was ripping up a roll of styrofoam. I don't know where it came from. Maybe I missed it when I cleaned up from assembling the treadmill? I don't think that she ate any of it. I took it and the pieces away. Cats!

Fed us and took a nap. Ran out to get Zara's meds. Now I'm trying to cool off. I'm looking at this week's HelloFresh recipes to decide what to make tonight, and Shepherd's Pie intrigues me.

Staked the cherry tomatoes. Planted the beets. I'll need another bag of dirt for the zucchini.

Hot, hot, hot (90F). I'm trying to cool off with a cat on my lap. Um...

Finished the veggie soup. I think that I'll just make a grilled cheese sandwich later and call it "enough".

Talked to Mom. We were goofy and laughing a a lot. I enjoy talking to her. Apparently my aunt is upset that "poor Donald Trump" is getting picked on. She should see the part of the Lincoln Presidential Museum about contemporary news articles about Lincoln. Most of them weren't flattering. And Trump is no Lincoln, although he probably thinks that he is.

I might actually go to sleep early. Don't know why I'm tired.
