Mad Scramble--Home Version

Well, I didn't get up early to clean. I was too tired. I'll finish the kitchen tonight, after Mom goes to bed. I needed the sleep though.

Mom called and said that she's coming tomorrow after all. Yay. I'll get a chance to finish cleaning. I feel like the whole world opened up. And I'm also feeling tired.

I looked into how much time was left on my Comcast contract, and it's up at the end of the year. I should have gone with Sling last time. I'll still need Comcast Internet though, at least for now. I'm hoping that there will be more options in Champaign. I'm trying to find out if I can get AT&T Fiber in Champaign, but having no luck. You'd think that because the U of I is so techy, there would be good options.

I got Bloomberg TV (investment programming) streaming on the Web, but it only allowed a couple of hours (which is still generous for free). But then I discovered that I got it as one of my cable channels! And I can stream TV to my Google Home! I've got it on to keep me awake.

Napped after work and slept for 4.5 hours. Oops. Need to get into gear. Fed the admittedly patient girls, and Mimi is complaining about who-knows-what. Started laundry. Soaked a litter box. Almost done cleaning the kitchen except for the floors. My back started to hurt, so I'm taking a break. I think that I'll mop the floor--it really needs hands and knees scrubbing, but it'll go faster. Or I could scrub near the kitchen counters and litter boxes, and mop the rest. And I'll sweep and mop the floors in Mom's bathroom and bedroom tomorrow during lunch.
