Mom's Visit

days_unfoldingMom and I both got up around 10:30 AM, but thought that the other one of us wasn't up, so we stayed in our respective rooms. Eventually we connected. We had breakfast and threw ourselves together.
Mom said, "Why don't we have lunch?" So we had biscuits and gravy at a local coffee shop. Then we took off to to Normal. I returned the plants with no problems and bought light bulbs for the refrigerator and potting soil. Then we came back and stopped at Walmart. We found some English Thyme in its garden shop, so I bought one and Mom bought two. Mom was looking for some loosely-fitting pants, but had no luck.
We came back and decided to take a nap. I slept an hour longer than I intended. Mom finally came in and said that if we plan on ordering pizza, we should do so now. So we did, and spent some time chatting while we waited. The pizza was good. Now Mom is going to sleep because she wants to get an early start tomorrow. (She's leaving tomorrow.) I plan to do so as well.
