Kind of a Lazy Day

I turned on the heat last night because the temperature has been going down to the 40s F, but I don't think that it has gone on yet. I brought out an extra blanket.

Woke up a few times, but got up at 10 AM. Mimi is making a fuss over me. I guess that she missed me yesterday. Fed the cats first thing because it's later than they normally eat. Now Zara is in my face. I guess that she missed me too, although she's more independent than Mimi.

Zara was clearly still hungry, so I gave her the other half a can from Mimi's food. She usually eats Mimi's leftover food, which Mimi doesn't finish because she eats dry food, but I'm low on dry food, which should arrive today. Anyway, it all worked out, and we're all fed.

I read an article that said that the J&J vaccine, which is the one that I got, goes down to 3% after a few months. I hope that they have a booster soon.

Speaking of shots, I'm mulling over when I can get my flu shot. I was thinking Friday, but I'll be in Chicago that day. And I'll be getting in late on Saturday. I don't want to get it on Thursday because of possible side effects. Maybe the following week?

Took a long nap. Woke up feeling kind of dizzy and shaky, but food has helped. I'm wondering if I should lie down a little longer though. Checked that Walmart has Blue Buffalo dry cat food, and they do, so I'll pick some up tonight if the food from Amazon doesn't arrive.

I did lie down and slept. Got up and fed the girls again.

Texted the pet sitter. She said that she could take care of the cats Friday and Saturday. Awesome.

Started laundry. Ran out and got soda and Mimi's dry cat food.

Talked to Mom. The doctors are having her do an endless round of tests. She wants me to get another J&J shot, but I looked into it, and they're not offering second shots yet. She's worried about the state of the country.

I need to study Italian, but I'm tired, so I'm going to go to bed and get up early.
