Oh, my doctor's appointment today was a fiasco. I had an appointment to get my ear flushed out and then a blood test. First appointment was 45 minutes late. They let the lab know I was still in my first appointment. I got soaked during the ear flush, but okay. Then I went to the lab, and had to wait again because I missed the appointment. I had a blood test and then they wanted a urine test, which was weird because my doctor has never asked for one. Then I noticed that the name on the cup was wrong after I filled it. So then they had to do a second blood test because they hadn't taken enough blood from me. I didn't expect to be logging onto work so late!
I have to go back for another ear flush after I get back from Michigan. I need to keep treating my ear with Debrox in the meantime.
A city in Italy called Ancona has captured my imagination as a potential place to live. I can't wait until I get to Italy. I'm also investigating lie-flat seats for a flight to Italy, but it would be expensive. Might be worth it though. I read an article about a couple who retired in Italy. They said to follow your dreams.
I made an appointment for a COVID test on Saturday. Trip is getting real :)
Ran out to get library books. I'm getting a nice pile to take with me to Michigan. It's COLD out (38F).
Piano class went well, and I enjoyed it. I really need to scrape up the money for private lessons. I hadn't had class for a couple of weeks but did well. I can only imagine how well I'd do with private lessons. Maybe in January? My teacher was really disappointed that I won't be there next week.
I feel like cooking, so I'm going to roll with it. First, however, I need to make a grocery list for tomorrow (done). Hmm, I'm wondering if I could get a Thermos and bring hot carrot soup with me to my trip to Michigan. Walmart has one.
Hmm, I'm feeling tired though. Yeah, I'm going to go to bed.
