Dense fog this morning. The joys of winter.

I was going to wait until Zara got up to feed the cats, but now she's up. She's perched on my shoulder making disgusting noises as she grooms herself. Okay, got them (and me) fed.

Went back to sleep and slept for four hours. I've got a bad case of the shakes. Started laundry. Started a to-do list for today. I watched an Italian video on Lingopie. It was good, but when you clicked on a vocabulary word, the video jumped around. It's good for picking up vocabulary though.

Oh dear. Betty White died. Rest in peace.

Took another nap. I'm finally feeling well-rested. I'm still having IBS symptoms, so I'm going to stay home today and get my library books on Monday. I have food in the house.

I made an appointment for a COVID test on Wednesday, that being the earliest date that Walgreens had available. I'll have to duck out of work early to take it.

Finally got my lazy butt into the shower. My restoration is complete. Now to start on my to-do list. I'm also making toasted ravioli, which should be good. It was pretty good and filling. And I have leftovers!

Emptied the car. Did some dishes.

Called Mom when I started watching drunk CNN hosts on their New Year's Eve show, but she said that she was having problems breathing (which is worrisome), so she said that she was going to bed. But then she called me at midnight Eastern time to wish me a Happy New Year. I watched the countdown for Central Time (Don Lemon jumping out of a lemon cake was a highlight), but now I'm ready to crash. Happy New Year!
