Lazy Day

It's a lazy day in which I overslept my nap. It's supposed to be 54 F tomorrow, so I'm going to postpone my errands until then and let the temperature deal with clearing the snow. Did I say that I was lazy?

I was mulling over the differences in my cats. Mimi will settle somewhere: on my lap, next to me, or on the floor. Zara is on my lap, off my lap, on the back of the chair, on my lap again, on the floor, all in rapid succession. And Zara is the older of the two of them! When she was younger, she used to race my mom and I down the stairs, and she always won and looked so pleased with herself.

Mixed up the poppy seed bread mix and baked it. Worked for a couple of hours while it baked and cooled. It's good.

Well, hell. I went to make a claim for my pet insurance, only to find that I have a $250 deductible for each cat. I wouldn't get any money back.

Talked to Mom. She's doing okay. The health insurance company okayed her treatment, so she's waiting for it to get set up.

I'm exhausted, so I skipped German.
