Language Day

Woke up, as usual, to two cats staring at me. "Mommy, are you going to get up and feed us?" I suppose that I'm lucky that they don't wake me up.

Napped and slept for an extra 1.5 hours. I'm feeling more well-rested. Woke up to the same two pairs of eyes staring :)

Studied some German. Made more German flashcards. Studied more German.

Mom called. She sounds a lot better and is feeling better. (She said that's because she's mad. She wants to leave!) They're keeping her there, though, until they talk to her doctor on Monday.

I took another nap. My justification was that you transfer things that you've studied into long-term memory when you sleep :)

German went okay. She thinks that I can hear something once and remember it, but I need to pound it into my brain. Now I need to study Italian.

I see you have had some additional news regarding your mom. All these transfusions, yikes! But if it helps her, then that's a good thing. I surely am sending healing vibes to her, and comforting vibes to you.
