Wrung Out

I'm still fighting fatigue. I wound up taking a 1/2 sick day and sleeping.

I went to see Mom after work. Mom said that she was going to die tonight. I don't know if that's real or one of her delusions. It was hard to leave and I'm wrung out.

I need to get up early to pay some of Mom's bills and mail them. I did get her checkbook. I asked her about her Social Security number to pay bills online, but she didn't understand me.

I don't know how you are holding up under all this stress. Hearing your mother say she was going to die that night must've been something awful. She's really struggling mentally, isn't she?

Yeah. she's really confused. It was creepy and emotional to deal with.

I’m so sorry. I’m sure it’s just that she hates the situation she is in, which is understandable, and she’s obviously not compos mentis - I’m sure if she was she wouldn’t have said that.

I don't blame her for hating the situation that she's in. She can't get out of bed without alarms going off.
