Quirks of the House

I’m learning the quirks of the house. The bathroom floor is COLD. Painfully so. I need to invest in a warm fuzzy rug. And slippers. The hot water in the shower though is almost immediate. In fact, I almost burned myself.

The other bathroom is warmer but ugly. Warmer might win.

The heat is laboring mightily, but it’s -6F outside and it was coming from being set at 55 F.

The air mattress is comfortable but chilly, as air mattresses are.

You set the time on the microwave by turning a dial.

I didn't sleep. At all. I finally got up and put clothes on, which warmed me up. I got up and dropped off the key at the painter's place. (He didn't want to go out in the cold.) I submitted a delivery order from Walmart for tonight. Poor delivery guy or gal :( Now I'm waiting for the AT&T Fiber guy.

Awesome sauce. At first, the AT&T guy said that he couldn't do anything for me because he was told that this house had been set up for Fiber, but we couldn't find the box. But he did find it and got me set up. I'm using it now. And the WiFi reaches upstairs, so I don't need a WiFi extender.

I need to call AT&T to get my password reset, but I think that I'll eat something first. No, I got my password reset without calling, though I need to tell them that I don't need the WiFi extender. But I think that I'll call them when I get back to Michigan. I think that it's food and nap time.

I can't put the piano under the stairs because there is a light switch there and the cable box. I think that I'll put steps and stairs shelving there. And put the piano on the wall by the back door.
