Preparing for the Packer Guy

I woke up at 6:30 AM. Fed us, and took a nap. It’s kind of annoying that I wake up, get up, and then start yawning. Mimi is sleeping like a little angel.

I realized that I hadn't paid for my storage space, so I ran downstairs and paid it. It had my old card for automatic payment, so I changed the card. Zara wants food again :)

I’m feeling really, really shaky. I’m going to eat something, and then I might lie down for a little while. Couldn’t sleep.

I just realized that I don’t need to get a trunk for exercise stuff; I have two trunks in storage. I could use the other one for wrapping paper, ribbon, and bows.

I got the dressers emptied so that the packing guy can fill them with my mom's clothes. Now I need to try to figure out how to get stuff out of the living room because I want him to help me get the rug out because I'm taking it.

I ordered flea meds for the cats from Chewy, but they want a paper prescription mailed to them. Sigh. I'll call the vet on Monday. (The behaviorist commented that I need to get them on flea meds before I board them. She's right.)

I took out a wand toy for the cats to play with, and Mimi was scared of it! Zara was a mighty huntress and "caught" it several times. We're going to have some work to do to get them to play together.

The living room is going to be a big chunk of work. But I’m getting a headache, so I’m going to eat something and maybe lie down.

I've been trading off working on the living room and working on my program. I work on the living room until my back hurts (damn my large chest) and then sit down and program.

I've got the new litter boxes, and they are enormous. I think that the girls will like them. I also got the Zylkene, which is a food supplement that is calming for the girls. I have almost everything that I need except for Zara's new food and the flea meds.

I got the living room cleared out except for the shelves that will go over the washer and dryer in the new house. I'll ask Donovan (the packer guy) to help me carry them out to the car. Maybe the painter guy could help me get it in the new house.

I have a pounding headache that won't leave. I'm thinking that I should set up the new litter boxes, go to bed, and get up early. Well, I've got two out of three litter boxes set up. I need to take out some garbage and recycling before I set up the third one. So now I'll go to bed and read for a while and go to sleep, and I hope, get rid of the headache.

Added: Hmm. Wayfair is having a sale on home office items. I found a couple of desks that I like. The question is how much I want to spend on desks now. Maybe I should get some cheaper desks and get nice ones later.
