Hmm. I was thinking about going to tai chi, but my back and knee are bothering me. I think that I should see a chiropractor after I get back from Italy.

Got my hair cut. It looks like a good cut, but the proof will be when I wash and dry it myself. And the salon is three minutes from here by car! Oh, and it's not just me who thinks that my brows are a mess. She trimmed them.

Had a particularly good lunch: Lean Cuisine Shrimp Alfredo and a little carrot cake. But now my stomach is hurting. I'm a mess :)

I found all the cheap restaurants near my hotels and certain sights in Italy. I need to remember to call Comcast Cellular to get phone service on my trip.

Ugh. House flippers are contacting me. I told them that we're getting Mom's house in move-in condition.

I need to make flashcards for Italian numbers. I know how to say "how much does it cost?" but need to be able to understand the answer! I need to print off my list of directions too. Hmm. I found a site with Italian tutors (I didn't really like my last one) and AI software for practice that doesn't break the bank. It has French too. I might go with that. I emailed them to see if I can study more than one language. I printed off a list of directions and will study that too.

Couldn’t sleep. I’m going to go to bed early.

Crud. It’s supposed to rain on Sunday, but I do get Monday off. I’ll have to jam on mowing Saturday and Monday.

I was trying to figure out when I could call the dentist to make an appointment but tomorrow is meeting-land. I guess that will be on Friday. Oh, and call Xfinity about phone access in Italy.

I’m trying to decide what to do tonight. 1) Get the recycling out (done). 2) Laundry (done). 3) Fill travel bottles of shampoo and such. 4) Winnow down my makeup to fit in a small case. 5) Start packing. 6) Dishes (done). 7) Wash litter box. That should do me. Oh, and order groceries from Walmart (done). I added a task, water the outdoor plants, because they were bone dry. That surprised me because it rained last night. Oh, I guess that it was Monday night. I came in dripping sweat. The humidity is NOT a perk of living in Champaign-Urbana. I also added watering the big plants in the living room (done). The money tree is looking very perky. It's gotten late, so I'll pick up the rest of the tasks tomorrow.

Hope you have a good trip and hope you are able to sell your mother’s house to people who actually want to live there.

There is a great YouTube channel called Easy Italian. It consists of two people talking about some aspect of traveling in Italy, and they talk in Italian. It provides subtitles in both English and Italian. It reminds me of watching The Electric Company as a kid. I love trying to follow along and translate as I watch and not try to read the English titles. I have no plans to travel to Italy (unfortunately) but why lose a language I spent most of high school trying to learn?
