She blinked

It looks like Harlee ate a little. Not much, but a little. Good deal. My only concern is that I saw on the Internet that if a cat stops eating for more than 2 days, the cat runs the risk of fatal liver damage. Maybe I should still call the vet.
I don't mind her staying under the bed nearly as much as the not eating. However, I'm still planning on moving her to my home office to give her more solitude. I have a printer on a table in there, and it occurred to me that I could tape a towel to the table to make a little cave for her (the other three sides are against the wall or my desk). I could put her food under the table with her, so she could eat and still feel defended.
On my way out the door this morning, a couple of construction workers said that they were there to caulk the windows. I explained the situation with the cats, and went around in circles again, and they agreed to come back tomorrow morning when I'll be home. The homeowners' rep at the construction management firm also called me back, and she said that she'd find out what additional work needs to be done inside, and would try to get it scheduled at the same time as the windows. So (fingers crossed) hopefully there will be an end to all this work soon.
Addendum: I talked to the shelter again about Harlee's situation, and one of the first things the shelter rep said was that Harlee had been adopted once before, and Harlee spent two weeks behind the washing machine.(!) (I don't know if Harlee came out then, or if she was returned to the shelter then.) The rep said that Harlee really likes other cats, so she suggested that Random spend time with her. (A little easier said than done with Harlee under the bed.) I've been bringing Random into the bedroom for visits, but I'm not sure if I'm comfortable leaving him in with her when I go to work.
