The Seroquel is not going to work out. Not only was it making me sleepy all the time (including when I was driving, which is not too cool), but it also made me feel disassociated and disembodied. I'll call the doctor on Monday and tell him no dice.

The San Jose Home and Garden Show was a waste of time. It's a great place to go if you want to find someone to work on your place, but it's not so helpful to someone looking for ideas. However, I did find out that there's a walking tour of homes with water gardens in a couple of weeks, so I'm planning to go on that tour.

Harlee has continued to make progress. She'll now let me pet her in the same room with her. (The poor thing is starved for affection. I just barely touch her, and she'll flop on the floor and start purring.) She also dozed off on the couch once with me in the same room with her.

I'm glad it keeps going well. My least tame kitty is sort of the same way - he wants so much to play, but is so afraid of taking the last step. But he's getting better, and I can often pet him and get him purring now. If he's hyper (which they often are), then he'll jump away or swat at me. But more and more often he'll forget to do that ;)

Amazing what time will do. There's a lesson in there somewhere -;)
