How does your garden grow?

Quickly, apparently. Here's a recent picture of my patio garden:
The plants have actually grown a little since I took the picture. You can see why I need to get rid of my patio furniture.
My mint plants are running amok with delusions of world domination:
Hard to believe that they were three inches tall when I got them.
Also, I bought an orchid:
A couple of weeks ago, my grocery store had a display of orchids and chocolate (for someone whom you really want to spoil, I guess). I didn't get one then, but later, I decided that an orchid would look really nice with my plants at work. This one was the healthiest one that was left. I decided that I'd rather keep it in my bedroom instead of taking it into work. It's great to lie in bed and look at the flowers.
Now I want more orchids, of course-;) I seem to have acquired
another new expensive fun hobby. (Actually, the
plants aren't horribly expensive. They run about $25 for a flowering
plant.) I bought some books and am educating myself about them.
