Hot kitty love

Harlee has figured out where kitties come from: from behind closed doors. She's convinced that I'm hiding yet another cat in my bedroom. I might have to let her in to see that there's no cat there (and keep a close eye on her so that she doesn't get into the orchids).

Nima's out from under the couch, and I have the gates up. I just had a major petting session with Nima. I'm tempted to name her Bliss or Miss Bliss because bliss is what she's good at. (Not a bad thing to be good at, actually.) She's walked across my lap (which Harlee has never done) and given me "kitty kisses", that is, she attempted to groom me back. She's still a little nervous when I'm standing and walking around, but she should get over it fairly fast. I'm in with her.

Random's the only problem. He's hissing and growling and making noises that I've never heard a cat make before. I'm hoping that he just needs time. Maybe I got Nima too soon after getting Harlee, but too late now.

Sounds like you picked another good one. Poor Random. Twit must feel that way, getting 4 kitties foisted on her all at once. At least they're only around in controlled (more or less) doses. Except for one unscheduled sleepover when GM wouldn't leave and wouldn't let himself get caught ;)

Nima's a really sweet kitty. Random tried to attack her, and I'm mad at him, but I guess it is stressful for him. His world has been turned upside-down.
