Grounding Techniques
Aug. 18th, 2025 09:14 pmGracie is learning to not go after the cats food. At first, she kept popping up to the edge of the counter like a Jack-in-the-Box, but now I can say, “Gra-cie, NO!” and she’ll jump down.
I’m looking at the shore excursions for the Bermuda cruise, and yeah, I want to do that.
Overslept for a half-hour. I have a headache.
The doctor's office said to go to an Urgent Care. I have an appointment for tonight at 6 PM.
I picked up Gracie’s meds and made an appointment for Bella. Now I’m at Urgent Care. Got the kit for the stool sample. Came home and used it. I want to drop it off before work tomorrow.
Bella’s collar is missing! I don’t know what happened to it.
Elizabeth Gilbert said that she practices grounding techniques before she goes anywhere. I wish that she had said what techniques that she uses. I might talk to my therapist about it. I subscribed to some DailyOM courses: "End Anxiety and Panic Attacks," "Living in Calmness When Emotions Overwhelm You," and "Preventing Procrastination". I hope that they help.
I want to go to sleep as soon as my laundry finishes because I want to get up early and drop off my sample at the lab before work.
