Cruise: San Diego --> Chicago

days_unfoldingShowered and finished packing and put my suitcase in the hall. Bed time.
Had problems falling asleep. I finally ate a protein bar and then was able to fall asleep.
Woke up at 6 AM. Had breakfast. I’m watching the planes take off from San Diego airport. There’s a seagull perched on a security camera. I guess that we’re back. A seagull grabbed some food!
Off the ship. Got the stuff that I forgot to put in the suitcase in the suitcase. I’m sitting on a bench waiting for the crowds to die down. My flight isn’t until 5 PM!
At the airport. Now I wait for a long time. I’m shutting down my phone to conserve the battery.
I left my cane in the airport shuttle. Drat.
At the gate. Found a charging station. Called the O’Hare Hilton to tell them that my flight gets in at 11 PM.
Made it to O'Hare. I slept most of the flight; in fact, I didn't wake up until we touched down. Now I'm at the hotel. I'm going to go to bed without much ado. I get the bus to Champaign-Urbana tomorrow.
