days_unfoldingWell, the DMV deemed me worthy of driving for another 5 years. Be afraid. Be very afraid -;) The written test wasn't an issue, but the vision test almost was. The vision in my left eye just barely met their criteria. Time to get new glasses. (Maintaining everything that needs maintaining could be a substantial part-time job, at least. How do people keep up?)
