Well, I was in no shape yesterday to go anywhere or do anything major, so I went shopping online. I wound up on eBay, bidding on blazers (which I really need) in just about every color that I'd ever wear. Most of them were in the $10 - $20 range too.
I also bid on a couple of suits. My favorite, which I already won, isn't very practical. It looks like this picture:
(You can click the picture to get a larger view if you want.) But for $14.99, including shipping, I think that I can afford to play a little-;)
Well, online shopping wasn't what I planned to do, but at least it was useful.
Time flies when you're having fun
Sep. 2nd, 2001 06:03 pmIf I count my old
adriennerad journal, I hit my one-year anniversary on LJ several days ago:
Date created: 2000-08-20 19:01:32
It's absorbed a lot more of my life than I would have expected. I kept a web log on my web site for about a year prior to LJ, but the difference is the interaction, both good and bad. I've met a lot of really cool people on LJ...and I've lost a lot of time. I'm actually glad that my friends' list is relatively small.
I might steal
bookfoole's idea and post links to my old journal sometimes. I didn't post to it every day, so sometimes I might not have things to link to.
Addendum: Oops, it looks like that I deleted my old entries up to October.
